well I picked up my new project
« on: October 23, 2007, 10:18:20 PM »
I took possesion of my new project today.  Its a 1982 KZ750 that has 3616 miles on it and has been garaged since early 1986.  Someone cut the harness and tried to steal it. The owner never fixed it he just put it in the garage and forgot about it.

Best part is that I got it for free.

Nice bike mate, I can't view the pic from my defence computer, but I'm guessing it's an L1 or L2? I totally restored one that I'd gotten in exchange for a bicycle, but only rode it once, then traded it in on a 1980 Ducati 900SS, what an unreliable piece of shiite that thing was! (the Duc, not the Kawa)  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
