wheel bearings
« on: December 18, 2007, 12:15:14 PM »
how many bearings in the rear wheel(comstar).  Everybody i checked with sells them as a Pair.  My clymer manual clearly shows 3 bearings in the picture(exploded view). I am getting ready to change them and wonder what price i will eventually pay for not changing that 3rd one? Any one even know what size it is?

  • If you can't fix it with a hammer, it's electrical

The third bearing is a 6305z, you should be able to get it from an industrial bearing supply. Or, All Balls sells a whole kit, with seals and bearings.
