Watching them riding those Scottish lanes made me want to get on my bike and go for a ride!

On a dark, cold, wet Sunday night!

I can't think that Boston is that much different Andy (?)

What's it like there at the end of October?

Here it's bright sunshine (but cold) like today, or wet, windy and cold (like Sunday) - depends on the Atlantic depressions and whether they head for Scotland or just barge in over Southern England!

You are right Steve, more or less similar. Today is bright sunshine and cold - this mornings ride in was 36F (2C) whereas on Saturday it was rainy all day (though kind of warm - 64F, (17C)...but generally more or less similar but we probably have more blue sky/sunshine days in Boston than in England (thinking of my time in Oxford) and definitely more in than in Scotland.

However as odd as it may seem, I do miss riding in the dark, wet streets of Glasgow where I used to ride year round.

cheers
Andy
