Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers?
« on: February 24, 2009, 11:33:31 AM »
Wondering if any of my fellow Canadians are a member of this club? I just submitted a request to join. Figure at the very least it may give me some new contacts hopefully some will be interested in vintage bikes etc.

Thanks Raynald.

I just re-read my post and it wasn't as clear as I had thought it was when I typed it. I have been a member of SOHC4 for a while now. The club I was referring to is the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers.

I joined up for chapter 050 which is out of Oshawa. After doing some reading they seemed like a good group. Although it mentions cruisers in the name it is certainly not a genre specific club. In fact they seem to welcome riders of all types (although as always there is a much higher percentage of cruisers though surprisingly few Harleys).

Basically, I was looking for a new source of riding partners and other similar minded individuals. I would like to do a bit more group riding this year. I enjoy tearing it up in the twisties alone some times but I also like to take a slower more laid back ride occasionally too.

I am doing the same right now:  I started to get information about Bikers Clubs in my area (Quebc City) during the latest Bike Show.

I don't think I could take long rides with my CB350F, revving at 6000 for 60 mph...  So I want to joint a group which is offering rides around town.
