Yah,that was my problem with the Thuxton---Triumph went the right direction, but IMHO not far enough. They sound waaaaay tooooo polite as well.

Most of the Thruxtons delivered in the UK have the optional Arrow exhaust...

My 96 T-bird could've used that. One of my first orders of business was to find and fit the TORS. Much better.

Couldn't really have affected you much, mate. Post-Winston Churchill, there wasn't really much left of the British economy to mess up.

Don't worry, I hear Barack Obama is going to save us, and then, since he can walk on water, he'll come over and save you too.

Will this beast go into production?

http://jalopnik.com/345985/honda-cb1100f-production-confirmed

overseas only
Surely the target Market for a bike like this, just as the original KO model was, would be the US. But I suppose the current recession won't help.

Please dont flog me  ;D but I really dont see what you guys like so much about that 1100F.. I think its rather confused, dont like the lower tank line and the tail is boring.... or just doesnt fit. Is that two horns up front.. UHHG those look terrible. It wasnt to look sporty but be a cruiser and I think its not doing it right.

I do like the lower half of the bike though.. If I put my hand over the fender, seat, tank and handlebars I really like it  :-\

Isn't a naked bike supposed to look a little confused. I just like stance of this bike and I agree the tank is not the best but the seat is killa IMO.

Here it is from side stock:

I just hope it makes it into the dealers.

Which would you rather ride out of your dealer's show room?

This "Fury"?

or this great looking standard?

The only thing I don't like about the 1100F is that goofy exhaust. [runs & hides]

Other than that, outstanding!

Then there was this is one.

I remember reading an article, titled "40th anniversary CB750", on the web about six months ago. I tried to locate it but no luck.

Has anybody got any info?

I applaud them just for trying but....

1. The front discs need some work. I would rather have one with a 4 pot than 2 with singles.
2. Front fender needs to be extended and add another front support.
3. Tank needs a sharper horizontal definition and something about the emblem looks off.
4. Transition from the carbs to the airbox looks weird too.
5. They forgot to install a kick starter.

Ah forget it, if I had money to burn and wanted a "new" bike I will take it in the form of a restored "real" 750.

IMO, the Fury looks more like it has an idea of what it should , or is trying to look like..(except the motor does not look very nice..)

But I agree, the red 1100 seems, like its trying to meld a mixture of styles.. & looking a bit confused doing it..

I find it kind of embarassing that the Fury is what the Honda market analysts come up with when they think "new motorcycle for the American market"
I guess I'm embarassed mostly because they're probably right.
