A mate of mine in Mount Isa just told me about him, said he was OK, did a search in here to see if anyone had any thoughts about him

Went to him for a few parts when restoring my F2.  He wants top dollar for some parts that just aren't worth it eg. $200 for a tank with a few dings and some rust on the inside.  If you can wait and doing the searching, you can find probably better.  If not, then it's up to you.  It's a long way to travel, or postage is a killer.  In the end I hunted around and bought some parts of Custom Chopper Imports, a rolling chassis etc for a reasonable price.

I have to say that Ross has been a wealth of knowledge for me with my restoration project, and there have been numerous times when I go see him that I know I am holding him up from other work, but he always helps out as much as he can, especially considering how hard I have found it to get parts for my cb 650, if he doesn't have the part I need he always tries to track the part down, if he cant find the exact bit he will then help me find something that will do the job. I know that on some things he can be a bit expensive but I personally prefer to spend a couple of extra dollars to recieve the level of service he provides.
