So it begins....You'll just have to get yourself one of these infernal aggravating contraptions Bob. ;D To bad Honda scraped their development of a snowmobile in the 70's, we might have had some reliable SOHC/4 sleds to ride around on in the winter....

We've already seen our first little bit.

Just get some of these, you'll be fine...

My big problem is how to get one more bike into the garage.  I wanted to bring the old Triumph project home for the winter, and fiddle with it in bits when I can.  We have no room! I hate the thought of leaving a bike out in the driveway under a cover.

Why the driveway medic? Your doors too narrow in the house?

I'm with you, boats; but the tools are all in the garage.  Actually, the wife is getting a little conservative in her old age.  Something about the new mahogany wood floor we just laid down... ::)

Snow? Bugger that mate, I went to see the snow once, it was so friggin' cold, my beer froze! No good for Aussies, we like hot days and cold beer, not cold days and frozen beer, that just sucks! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Couldn't agree more. The fact that is now becoming a part of the forecasts is more to the point. ;)

I've been to see your islands attempts at snow Terry, It might have be cold but I have to say, it was great for boarding on 8)

The trick with the beer is to make sure you put it down in snow that's got Sunlight on it, that way it stays cold without freezing ;)

I haven't been able to ride in over a week because of a stupid ear infection. Weather went from low 80's before the illness to 31 this morning.  ::) I had to scrape the windows on my truck! GAH!!!

Tuesdays forecast - sunny and 65 - I'm taking a half-day off work for what could be my last ride of 2007. Frost in town last night and tonight too.
I haven't had nearly enough seat time this year due to I don't know what. More riding will be high on my new year resolutions. I took my avatar photo at the far end of my best ride this year, near a little place called Tompkins, at a boat launch on the Grand River.

the description for those aerostitch tire studs is hilarious.   :D :D

yah, the cold and snow i've "enjoyed" already in southpark this year...  3 pipes burst last week at the ranch i work on when temps fell to 10 degrees and the pumphouse heater was not on yet.  super glad that was the owner's doing...  :-\

That's harsh Terry :-\  But unfortunately very fair ::)

Which is why everything I own (except the 550) has Bosch electrics ;D

BTW Greg, Aussie beer must be drunk cold, that way it numbs your tastebuds so you don't notice that it tastes like piss ;D

English beer apparently Jerry, hence the term, "Oi bah goom Crispy, ah drank 10 pints of warm salty English beer last night to wash down a couple of "Mad Cow" burgers at the old "Dog and Pony Inn" in Chelsea, and got well pissed"!

(England really is a great place to visit Jerry, but bring a cut lunch from France, as the food's not to be recommended either...............) ;D
