First one was a 1977 CB750K I bought new.  Had that bike until my 1st son was born and wife said, "you are a father now and should sell the bike."  Sold it to a friend with 10,000 miles on it in 1983 for $800.  Bought it back from him in 1998 for $500 with 13,000 miles.  Rebuilt the carbs and installed Vetter OEM truck and bags and rode it for 2 years.  Bought a Goldwing and sold the 750 to a friend for $1,500.  Now I want it back.  Friend said I have 1st dibs on it when he sells.  If I get it back all the Vetter is coming off and I will restore to OEM.  Since then I picked up that KO in July 2007 that is being restored and should be done in May.  Below is a picture of that 1977 and my blonde date...now my wife.

I've had my CB350F since March or was it May 1999.

Nearly sold it in 2005 but decided against and kept it. Had to consider selling it again a couple of weeks ago due to our plans to try to get on the property ladder this year. Decided it's not worth selling though. The little CB350F is worth far more than it's current monetary value to me.

Got any pics of that Cobra mate? I'm drooling all over the keyboard thinking about it! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey City Boy...I am workin' a KO right now.  I would like to see those pics too.  johnhthwy@yahoo.com  Did you keep the OEM carb set-up and how it is that working for you?  I have the OEM carbs and it took a while, but finally got it dialed in last fall with the help of the great guys on this board.  The bike had not been run since 1990 but it is sweet sounding with the new HM300's.
Thanks

Hi Johnie.I first built it in 812 Yosh format.Used stock 4 cable carbs then.Tore that down and built it to RC 1000 format .First I used twin DCOE Webers. They worked fantastic, but I had some low speed issues that I thought were carb related. So I dumped them and put on Mikuni smoothie 29's.Still had low speed problems that were cured with Martek 440 electronic ign.Sorry to this day that I gave up on the DCOE's.For my money, they are absolutely the best mixers bar none!Anyway ,the Mikuni's work fine but a mere shadow of the Webers. Thanks for asking ,I will send some pics to you.Right on about the exhaust.Yank the baffles for even better music!Rock On

Bought my 81 in 84 from my dad who bought it new in 82.
the 80 was acquired in 91 and the other one I have was put together from parts in 94.    Have had another 81 sitting for about 5 years and think it is going to be the boys summer project.
