For more "local" help, go over to www.honda-sohc.co.uk and register there as well. Most of us Brits hang out there too.

It looks familiar (same forum software) and you'll recognise a lot of the names.

Oh, and welcome.

Spent a fantastic week in your country sweepy. Hope some day to return.
I concluded your people and mine (Poles) are cut from the same cloth.
Also, I enjoy your whisky very much, esp the Laphroig.

Good luck on your chop.

Hi Sam and everyone, yeah I guess its true I am a grumpy old sod, I passed my bike test in 1963 so I am knocking on a bit, her in doors says I'm a grumpy old  sod and I can not argue with that she might do something nasty,my aim in life is to get older  disgracefully with or without her help.
I am busy building a hardtail chop CB650sc engine, !982 750 frame, 1982 750 front forks and wire wheels,  bsa bantam petrol tank and what ever else I can find in my shed. Currently riding a maggot 400 Eurosport, it a bike it rides, its not what I want, I want the chop finished but still a long way from that.
Any how nice meeting y'all

hi from one grumpy old man to another, you beat me to passing the bike test by 4 years so does that mean I will get even more grumpy?
I took a look at your website about t-shirts, no Japanese or American only British bikes before 1970 and you are building a Honda Chopper  ??? ??? ???

Hello from Virginia USA. I once had a BSA 440 Victor. Single cylinder, and NO electric starter. If you didn't work the compression release just right it would kick back and likely as not mangle your ankle on the oil filler  ;D. It would, however, throw large chunks of turf off the rear wheel as it chugged through the rough.
