Mick, can you confirm that the CR900 (31mm) tickler carbs will fit a CB750 SOHC by using DOHC intake rubbers?

Gday RR, mate i am not sure what the rubbers are on mine, they are on the engine at the moment. I have to go see another guy about some gear and he knows quite a bit about these carbs, i will ask and let you know.

I think he'll be happy to get about $12,000 Fuzzy. When it was built and the $ was 2 to the £ it cost nearly $25,000.

DOHC rubber manifolds will never work to mount CR Keihin carbs on SOHC engines. Those 4 valve ports were huge. I have the rubber manifolds (new) that you need to mount the CR900 Keihins, with Kaw/Suz spacing... here in stock at M3.

Let me know if you need them.

Not sure if anyone knows this but Bob Hanson is out at Willow Springs this weekend for the AHRMA race.  There was a '70 CR 750 on display in the bike show that he built.  Sorry dont have any pictures for you, I didn't have a camera on me. I'll be back out there tomorrow so if it's still there I'll try to get some pictures.  If any of you SoCal guys out there don't have any thing going on you should come up here and check out the races, tons of cool stuff.

Well I was out at the track again on Sunday, and Bob wasn't there with his bike.  But, there was another CR 750 there.  The bike belonged to Yoshi from the Garage Company.  He owns a shop here in Southern California.  Check out his website, garagecompany.com. He had the bike out on the track during the parade laps and he wasn't afraid to run it.  It sounded so sweet.  The cool thing about it was he was running with a 750 Ducati.  To see and hear those two bikes going at it was just so cool.  I have some cool pictures of the bike.  As soon as I can figure out how to post them I'll get them up for you guys.  They might be too big I'm not sure yet.  12 MP!

Ok ... got paint back tonight ... should look good with the white Daytona style stripes and lettering as contrast .... now I need to install my Lordmoonpie graphics!  Lot's of clear for a deep color finish, almost a crime to glue the chin pad down onto this brand new paint job!
