V-e-r-y nice Mike - looking real good! Quick question - with that wide back tyre, what sort of clearance do you have between the tyre edge and the rear brake torque arm? worked on my exhausts last night and noticed mine clears by about 1mm!!

Thanks LMP! In the pic from behind it looks like about a finger ..... I would imagine you could always add a washer or two inbetween the hub and arm to add clearance ..... should not effect the function of the arm. I never really looked at it since there is so much room ..... with the 3.5" rim the 140 tire has a wide profile like a modern bike. Your graphics are next as soon as I can spend some time at home! Probably this weekend .....

Just a little update on the bike:

Had some wheels laced using beautiful high rim EXCEL's and went back to original, although K7, front calipers. Also went back to period tires Dunlop TT100. See what you think.

Hey TG,

Nice to hear from you! Will not forget a brace, had one on my other fork. On this one I'm working with the original brace as a template. Making him out of stainless. Already have the front axle in 20 mm and that really makes a difference.
Carb's still OEM, keep searching for CR or Mikuni flat's.
BTW. You once mentioned the GAZI shocks, what is your opinon on them?

Some people are now racing with these nice Italian made things, at 200 euro, they are a nice deal I think

Latest development for the replica is something I was looking for a long time now. Made it available through www.voxonda.com a strong yet light and very small battery. So no big, heavy battery in sight. They are used in World Supersport and Superbikes.

Hi Vox,

if you need a Japauto tank, probably you could ask Ricky_Racer. I've got one in Europe which belongs to him.
But i do not know if he wants to sell or trade, I just know he has one.
I love the Japauto seats, perfect as a cooling box for almost 15 cans of beer.
Keep us updated with your nice project.
Is this the fairing of the club? Are you satisfied with the quality?

Must say I love the tank I have, but a Japauto needs a Japauto tank, so maybe I will ask RR what his plans are with that tank.
I too love these seats, always have loved the big hump. Have placed my battery in it and still can put in a can or 2.
This is a 'club fairing'. It is the light(er) version. Quality wise............ seen better fairings but must say it is one of the best Japauto fairings I have seen. Think it is not a simple one to make. But then again I am not a fibre man.
