After many weeks of just working on the bike for a day or two when I'm in from driving 18 wheels, it's finally been stripped, frame powdercoated, engine checked, carbs rebuilt again, everything cleaned and most small things repainted. Now comes the fun part of putting it all back together. You can't complain about a free powder coating job, I'm still wondering if I should chrome the swingarm. All Balls contributed their roller bearings at a decent price for the steering neck to replace those pesky loose ball bearings, Unifilter pods are on the carbs, and I'll have a tiny bit of polished aluminum and chrome when all is said and done. Here's some recent pics, sorry for the quality, the camera on my phone is all I got.
I'll have more up later tonight. And Duplicolor Rim Paint seems to be working well as engine case paint...I'll keep everyone updated.
Here's some more pics as promised. I've chopped the rear fender a little and cleaned up most of the wiring up front.
