I don't think so. Gavin Brothers are auctioneers. I think Tom is liquidating his business.

Looks like a total liquidation to me. Home and business. I don't think I saw anything that mentioned estate however.

Tom,

Good luck to you bro! Hope you're OK considering. Those of us that haven't been through the #$%* will go through it eventually. Perhaps only then will they understand. After all the bitterness passes you will be stronger and better. Try to keep your head and your self esteem up!

What?  What do you mean?  Sickness?  Divorce?
I sent the auctioneer a note asking what's going on.

It may, it may not. Tom does have a different sense of humor than most. It is entirely possible that he put it on there as some catch phrase. We will probably never know though as if he was to try and post anything, the few of you pissed at him would do nothing but bad mouth him and badger him to get his temper up. I can easily see why he is not on anymore.

Whatever. I will continue to withhold judgment on Tom until there is REAL proof on what is going on.

I hate to say this but it means they have totally busted out. I read the auction notice which gives the address. The home is listed as being a signifcant structure in the Commuity http://www.scls.lib.wi.us/reedsburg/walkingtour.htminity.

It would appear there were several businesses operating there http://www.reedsburg-photography.com/

You don't auction off a house like that, and you also don't auction off personal property without something going very wrong.

If memory serves...wayback in the day Tom mentioned that he did photography as well (or maybe his wife did it) I recall because I think there was a dispute over a client not paying him or something along those lines....

I seem to remember it was a wedding client...

I hope and pray that Tom pulls through this okay.

I'm astonished at how many aspects of Tom's private life are being discussed in public. I definitely would not want to if that was my case.

Let's give Tom some privacy for his personal affairs. I think we all wish him the best -well, let's say almost all-. I don't think we have the right to enter into his private life that much without having been invited. Let's move on, and hope he will be back on track soon, either here or somewhere else.

Nice to see the thread ending on a somewhat positive note then.  I truly thought it was a good sign to see him on craigslist and I had no intentions to show him in a negative light.

OK we know he is OK and that is all we needed to know. Say Amen and close the door on this thread.
