They teach about tattooing over lumps, moles and tissue with scars already.
Also, People that are allergic to penicillin, should avoid reds, violets and some bright pinks and oranges. Be thankful though, at least red no longer contains mercury!
I have purples that disappear on my half sleeve due to UV rays. Purple, red, and especially orange will "disappear" with over-exposure. I use a ton of sun screen, and it helps, but I'm so fair, I get burned right over the top of a tattoo. the Ink itself resides several layers down, so you look THROUGH to skin to see the actual color. My pink elephant turns bright red when my arm tans. This is why darker colored skin doesn't show color well but for maybe 2 weeks, until the upper layers heal themselves.
I'm curious about your skin color 1055. Pasty? Olive? or darker? also, do you work an outside job or spend extensive amounts of time on water during the summer, or just partying outside?
