Gorgeous signals Fuzzball!  The bike looks pretty darn nice as well!

I believe that the head light is an Adjure "3 Bar" or Tri-bar with black dot.  It also sports a nice chrome visor.  Very sweet set up.  How was the install for you?  Anything we need to be aware of?

Thanks guys. I really spent a lot of time looking before I bought and I'm pretty happy with the quality/price point.

Right-o on the Tri-Bar Gersh. Got that from Carpy.  Quite a bit bulkier on the back so space inside the bucket is pretty scarce but it works with a little rearranging.

Signals are double filament so they wired right in in place of the stock. 8mm mounting bolt replaced the headlight pivot bolt and fit the stock grounding nut. So it was pretty easy.

Here's the rear setup and the bike itself.

They look cool, that's for sure, but seems from the pictures that the turn signals are bright enough indoors, a little dim outdoors. How is the visibility on daylight?

Dig the headlight too.

Thanks man. But that's a rattle can lacquer job. Found a great DIY paint link here and I was just really happy with the end result. Not even close to perfect but respectable and a huge improvement over the chipped and faded Honda decals.

Less conspicuity than the stock lights, but  bright enough from a more straight on view . In the outdoor shot my camera was outside of the scatter angle of the lens.

Do you think you can find that link? I've looked and searched...

Thanks, Phil

I forget where I originally found it tucked away inside a thread here, but fortunately I bookmarked the site:

http://www.chuckhawks.com/harley_paintin.htm

The guy writes an informative AND entertaining article.
I had exactly zero experience and I was really surprised at how nicely it came out.

One thing that I think needs to be emphasized maybe a bit more in his instructions is the vital importance of starting with a pristine, grease free, fingerprint-less surface. No handling between coats and always a thorough degreasing with Simple Green or some kind of commercial de-greaser between sanding and recoating. I ran into some trouble between a couple coats---must have been some spots where I touched it and oil from my hands or something got on it.

Anyway, have fun, good luck!

Fuzzball,

How was the installation of the Adjure Headlight.  Did you need to make any modifications aside from better arrangement of the wires in the bucket?

Thanks,

Gersh

PS

That chuckhawk paint site is great, isn't it?

Yeah, very cool, and look what I just found by going to the home page:

Harley Paintin', the Missing Prep Article
http://www.chuckhawks.com/harley_prep.htm

Geez---my timing's a little off for finding that, probably even talks about grease free surface, etc.  ::)
D'oh well!---next time. Are ya getting this scadaman?

Headlight was no problem, I was able to use the existing three prong socket connector. The visor fit in pretty snug, but I didn't have to force anything as I recall. Tell you what though, the high beam is very diffuse and not as bright as the stock high beam. Low beam is fine, but the high beam really just widens the output angle more than illuminating farther ahead. I don't run this puppy at night much anyway so it doesn't matter to me.
