'82 nighthawk help
« on: May 11, 2013, 03:06:35 PM »
Need help with my '82 Nighthawk 650..Wanted to fix the back lights for the speedometer & tachometer assuming they are just burnt.
Got the cluster off & disassembled, Problem is I don't know how to access the bulb itself. It would seem you would pull out the rubber piece
with the 2 wires running to it, like I tried but it just doesn't want to budge. If anyone has does this or knows how....Please help

Just pulls out, spray a bit of silicon lube or even WD40 to  facilitate removal...Larry

+1 but use it sparingly, you don't want it to drip down into your guage and get onto the face ;D
