77-78 Carbs
« on: November 15, 2007, 04:41:59 pm »
Aside from the way the 78 f3 carbs are vented are there any performance differences between them and the 77 carbs? The threads on the body where the bowls screw in are stripped in a couple of places and I wanted to use a set from a 77 on my 78f3 would there be any problem?

Thanks in advance

not 100% sure on this but I check over my 77-78 K and F Honda Factory manual and there is only one set of carbs shown.  Hopefully meaning that they are the same for both years and both models.

Jet needles are adjustable in the '77 carbs but not in the '78. That's it as far as I know.

If your 77's are from an F2, they'll work fine.
