What will our cousins back in the Mother Country use?

President Blair won't let us have anything more dangerous than a pea shooter.

Now I've done it - those MI6 computers are probably scanning this site regularly given the previous gun threads, compounded by the fact that I'm writing this from my work computer - a UK Government office (don't worry, I'm only an IT Contractor)

Well I don't quite know how I did it, but I just gave you two positive points mate, one to replace the one I accidentally (he he) nicked from you, and another one because, er, because you're a top bloke! (for a sheep shagger!)  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Good on yer Terry, I always thought you were a top troop.

Hey Bill440cars, what's that bike in your avatar?..is it a CB450 frame with a CB750 donkey in it??  It looks very retro and cool, and it's given me a very good idea......

Terry, you cannot give someone more than 1 Karma point in each 30 minutes - at least, that's how it's supposed to work.

G'Day Steve, I know mate, but after I "accidentally" smited my Kiwi brother, I quickly hit the applaud button, and his Karma went from 2 to 4? Anyway, no biggie, he's a good bloke, and deserves it! Cheers, Terry. ;D

So this Karma stuff is really transcendental (?)

Do two (mistaken) minuses make a positive?

Square Root of -1 mate...

Well I only gave him one (accidental) smite mate, then went to applaud him, (for being a top bloke and almost an Aussie, even though New Zealand won "#$%*-all" medals at the Commonwealth Games where Australia, being possibly the greatest sporting nation in the free world, stuck it up everyone...........) er but I digress, did I mention that I'm no mathmatician Steve, what's the square root of -1?  ;D

As an electronic engineer by profession, the square root of minus one is "e"

Mathematicians use "i" but we already use that as a measure of electrical current.

I have a degree in this stuff but I'm afraid that was 30 years ago.

It's all true Terry, the Commonwealth Games. I have just deleted my draft post re this topic as it alluded to "mens netball" which is a so called sport over here although I had the misforturne to drive past a 'game' then found myself pulled over and dry reatching into the gutter.

The "pissing incident" was totally blown out of all proportion so I'm glad you omitted to mention it. The Warriors being -4 points prior to kick-off...that was just dirty pool!!  So good that we can meet in neutral ground in this forum and discuss motorcycling without all the niggly point scorring, mostly Aussie point scorring I'm gutted to have to concede...TC

Hmmmnnn.............. Well it looks to me like you boffins are just making this up, so, being just a broken down old soldier, I'm guessing that the square root of -1 is roughly "#$%*-all", like some of the other Commonwealth countries' medal tallies Steve? (Did i mention we did very well indeed?)  ;D

Hey toycollector, the bike in my avatar is a CB77 Super Hawk with a CB400F engine. I did a
post on it, trying to find out if anyone knew anything about it or where there might be more
photos. I found it awhile back while browsing for Super Hawk info & photos. I don't remember
where though. I tried to put the photo up on my post but, I'm not too experienced at that
yet. I jokingly said that I had a spare CB77 frame and a spare CB500K engine and mentioned a
mini CBX minus 2 cylinders. I know that the engine weight would be too much but, gotta admit
it would interesting. Better go before I get into trouble.  Later on,Bill
