Really Good Documentary
« on: November 18, 2007, 09:54:36 AM »
It's a bit quiet at work, so I turned on the cable TV.  Just saw a documentary called 'Dust to Glory', about the Baja 1000.  It has been at least 30 years since I thought about the Baja races, or heard racing names like Malcom Smith, Parnelli Jones, and Steve McQueen.

If you haven't seen this film, do so!

That movie was advertised here locally about a year or so ago.
From what I understand, it was real good, but was "independently"
made. Seems like the theaters dropped it like a bad habit. It was
only advertised very briefly, and only at very few select theaters.
Wish I could've caught it. Speed Channel maybe?..
