1915--The last time any Harley was called "Silent".

Came across one of the vintage HD's this past summer at a meet in Stockbridge. Considering the engine configuration and its age, it idled pretty darn well.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

1916 is last year for Grey Fellows, a buddy of mine has one, he found some of the grey paint on the inside of the tanks.. green may have been optional or mid year change..16 is first year rounded tank corners.

That other bike is early, like 1910 or earlier,  so fairly scarce..

I have parts of a 14 twin,, cases rough jugs, frame bits..I should at least cobble that together to look like an ornament.. board tracker..
