Probably last time as weather turns ugly in Indy, but she does look and run good.

Yeah, we got our first snow of the year yesterday here in Vermont. Usually that's my sign that I'm going to need to start looking into putting up the bikes for the winter season.

I hate this part of the year. It's the onset of P.M.S. (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome)

Yeah, I might sneak another in but I'm not much into freezing my ass off just to get out. Too old, too lazy.

C'mon, it's not time to start fixing and cleaning is it? I'm just not ready yet. I'm hoping we get a couple of more days in the 50's before it snows enough to sand.
Not giving up yet....

Here in NH it's been real cold and clear this past weekend. Rode both days, cold on the finger tips a bit but the carbs love the cold air !
There's a horse that watches me coming down this hill ...funny as hell !
He's probably saying " Look at this idiot riding in the cold on a motorcycle ?!"
Hey, I'm a former skiier.

Today we got a slight dusting of snow which should melt by the weekend.
As long as they haven't sanded or salted yet, I'll do the Michelin Man and enjoy the empty roads ! Thats the advantage of a full face helmet in the wintertime it's nice and warm ;D

I rode home from work last night - 30F and small flurries....and I was nice and warm in my lined Hein Gericke goretex jacket and thermals under my jeans..for gloves - winter goretex gloves....warm hands. Most mornings its 30-32F at 6.30am....bike loves it  ;).....ok not really but it still beats taking the train to work....

cheers
Andy

One of the benefits of living north is the extended opportunity to spruce up your ride!!

Now that's a neat bit of rationalization. ;) ;D

True, however.

Just drained the carbs and topped-off the tank today. I managed to get a couple of rides in last week and thought I might today since it was forecast to be mild. Unfortunately, mild came with drizzle and it looks like snow is on the way. :(
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

Every time I get the time to ride lately, it has either been below freezing or storming out.

Started the bike last night, though. Started right up without issue and cam right off choke. Hasn't been run for, probably, about three weeks. And it hasn't gotten much above 40 for those three weeks, either.

Got home about 7:30pm. Took a couple of turns around neighborhood on the beast. Straight Macs so neighbors hate me but why should I care? I'm rocking. Little chilly at 42* but will warm up shortly with a little touch of Grand Manier.
