I'm about to give up finding a set of slip on mufflers for my 350F. Since I have a serviceable set of head pipes, my next idea is to:
1] Find some kind of 2 into 1 joiner to connect to the head pipes.
2] Purchase a simple muffler that I can attach to the now single outlet from my pipe on each side.
Does that sound reasonable? I'm having a hard time locating a "joining solution." It can't be that hard can it? A 1-1/4" 2 into 1 stainless steel pipe or thereabouts and then a correctly sized up muffler? Has anyone else done this?
3] Plan B is to yank the 4-1 pipes off my 400F I'm picking up in December (obviously not a permanent solution).
