Not even if it just came out of a crate would it be worth half this...

People are crazy.

....And compare it to the '73 listed later in this thread. Unbelieveable..
Wish that '73 was from around here. That's a decent bike. Still high priced, but probly cheaper than a brand new modern scooter.

Well linder, add in the gas to drive out there and pick it up among other costs and it quickly becomes unaffordable. See in my area, motorcycles are always at premiums as there are not that many that survive since people leave them out in the snow so much.

Terry, the K8 was the first year honda actually produced a 750 worth ANYTHING! All the rest aside from the 77 should be banned as honda should be ashamed of making them ungainly hunks of metal! Apparently you have also never had a redhead.
If you had you would know that blonds are little fun and even brunettes do not have the flair a redhead does! I bet you were blond....before you went all grey! :D

1st one thats worth anything.. yeah right!! :o

Altho I had a 77CB that had been smashed(I parted it, out still got a bit of stuff) and a buddy  has a 78.. I can honestly say I have never had to fight the urge to ask to ride one.. but that is just my opinion..

But I have sold an early non runner for at least 1.5 times the price of a new 77 or 78 CB750..

My Opinion is this.. anyone in Canada or US near any kind of relative population density would be hard pressed to not find a fairly decent 750-4 for 1000.00

Providing,
They are willing to advertise a little bit and get up and go look at a few and have ready cash.

Unless, someone has majorly scoured that area looking for and advertising for them..

Best buys are ones not yet at market from people that dont know current pricing.. people that have gone to the effort of actually advertising them are more likely to know what they are worth..

3 CHEERS.. for barn frash & wild bikes..

If you need to see an area devoid of half-a$$ed used bikes, look in ND. Complete junkers that would sell for a case of beer somewhere else are priced at $1000 or more most of the time. There just are not as many bikes here and that is the plain fact.
