So people had mentioned being able to change the valve cover gasket on a CB 750 without removing the bike from the frame and I thought someone somewhere would've posted a video about it but I could not find one. So when I decided I needed to do this I figured I might as well videotape myself doing it and post it.

I thought about doing it at night with a handheld camera and speed metal playing in the background but I got lazy.

In the many years I've been here, this topic has reappeared many times. This is definitive. It also gives cred to the idea you can install them dry. And a reason to install them dry is so you can get them off cleanly if need be.

I still use gasgacinch on one side to position cover gaskets, but I'm confident I won't have  to do them over. Had I made a mistake on the cam cover gasket, I would have regretted that. (Well not me as I have a frame tube kit, but you see what I mean).

Same can't be said for head cheese and pucks.
