Legal or not ?
« on: July 23, 2005, 04:08:25 AM »
My old dog (R.I.P) was an Australian cattle dog who loved nothing more than jumping on the bike ,sitting on the tank between my arms, and going for a blast down to the beach or park.No paint to scratch so that was cool, just the occasional spray of dribble (the dog not me).I havnt seen any dogs on bikes in sydney for years now and was wondering if they outlawed it .Can you do it in you country ?
cheers

Used to know a guy who had a piece of carpet on his tank so his dog wouldn't slip off. The dog wor swimming goggles. Even when it was parked, that bike had pick-up power!!!
Here's Rosie the hood ornament.
Laws vary from state to state (sometimes from town to town) here. Call the DMV or what ever you folks call the vehicle law dept.

Hey Chromey, off the subject for a sec, did you fill the badge holes on yer tank before you had it chromed, or just left them "as is"? Cheers, Terry. ;D

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hey Terry in the land of milk n honey,Yeh i just got it chromed without any filling.I had painted it about 10 times and was never happy with any colour so the chrome was sort of a way to stop me wasting any more time or money.Still plenty of dents all over it but they all tell a story!
cheers
P.S The poms aren't putting up much of a fight in the cricket are they, they have all gone a bit quiet on here :D

G'Day Mate, yeah, you're right of course, the poms are quiet, which is unusual, I can't even hear any whinging, ha ha! Hey can you send me a couple of pics of your bike, Im looking for ideas for my K1 rat?

I've got one really good tank (ex US) that'd be good enough to chrome, and a NOS oil tank, so that might be one option, chrome is expensive, but so's paint! ;D Cheers, Terry.

Is this some effort to distract viewers from the "Honeymoon in Australia" thread? The two should really be merged...
