I had a drink last year, Glenlivet Scotch. That's the only liquor I drink, and very seldom as you can tell by my post. :)

Geez, lucky you didn't fall on your arse mate, you coulda got brain damage! Oops, time for a refill! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

During the day when I browse the forum at lunch I'm a Zero.

But at night, after dinner, I have had a couple maybe three beers.  Like tonight!

You can't make too much popcorn, but you can definately eat too much popcorn.

Good for you, GoatBaSS!

Hey Seaweb, you didn't answer the question "what ARE they smoking on Gabriola?"  We know all about those old hippies in British Columbia.   8) Didn't I see an old commune when I flew over Gabriola on the approach into Nanaimo?

If every individual (who wanted to), could grow 3-5 plants a year without the threat of jail The Hells Angels would have a lot less money in their pockets.

P.S. They grew to be big and healthy ;D

Good for you, GoatBaSS!

Thanks Medic09! Pain is a great motivator. I was told by my doctor there is a good possibility that no more drinky, I would never have it again. 5 days in hospital with no food and not enough demerol for the pain will scar your memory.

Worst part is most of the folk who get it are hard core Alcs with a bottle o spirits a day habit. I was treated like dirt for the first 5 hours in the ER. Then the Doc comes in and says " I don't think detox is in order." Wha! I was sick for the previous three days and had nothing at all! Was a major eye opener. Nothing since. If I had known I would have chosen my last beer a bit more wisely. ( yes I do miss Newcastle, among others...)
