You can usually find CB900F shocks on ebay - I picked up a set for $150 shipped.

you guys know if anyone makes some that are 11-11.5 inches, I'm trying to find some but also lower my bike.  Its a bit tall for me to flat foot it at stops.  I have been looking for some shortys for a while but all I can find is chrome ones, I really want black one, but worse case I'll get the chrome ones and have them powdercoated.  If you know anything let me know..................Chris

Remote reservoir?  Do you mean piggy back shocks like those pictured?  Or remote reservoir ones that have a reservoir that is separately mounted and connected to the shock via tube(s)?  900f piggyback reservoir shocks are over 1" longer than stock so keep that in mind.  If you want 900f length (too long for the 750 imho unless you are running a low seat) reservoir shocks, there are also those inexpensive Vipex shocks that have been mentioned here a few times.  About $150 but with no rebound or compression adjustments (only preload).  Quality??? Other resevoir options would be Works Performance, Hyperpro, Wilbers, YSS and perhaps Ohlins (don't list shocks for our bikes but they do for the 900 so they would be again overly long)  In reservoir form, all of these quality shocks will run well over $500 with the YSSs probably being the least expensive.  Have fun!

i meant the piggy back style. i picked up a set of 1100f shocks on ebay last night and i'm going to try shortening them. for 25 bucks it will be worth the try. if not i'll probably go with a mid range aftermarket one, like the works piggyback racer for around 450usd or so.

Fuzzy if those 1100f shocks dont work for you I could be interested in them (depending on quality etc). I need a longer shock for my bike and the 900F looks ideal.

cheers
Andy

Yes I was wondering about that too.  Works Performance cheapest shocks (the steel trackers) are listed at over $400 in their application guide and the standard racer piggyback twin shocks are listed at around $750 for the DOHC 750s (no listing for the SOHC 750 but they probably can make em anyway).  Where are you getting them for $450??

A bit off topic, but what do you think of your Craftsmen MC lift .RJ?  Does anyone else have opinions on this lift?  I am looking to buy/build a suitable workstand while I mount my rear shocks and suspension components.
