Will CB750K2 pistons fit CB750K0?
« on: December 10, 2007, 05:21:33 PM »
Or better yet, does anyone know where I can buy rings #13011-300-013?  That's what I ordered but got 13011-300-024 (with a 3-piece oil ring instead of the original 1-piece).  Service Honda says the -024 replaces the -013 and they're supposed to work but the total of all three pieces does not fit the oil groove on my K0 pistons (not even close).  So I'm either down to finding the original rings or buying the later pistons (ouch) and using the rings I got.  Anyone else run into this?
Thanks,
Mark

If they dont fit you aint doin it right as the depths and widths are exactly the same
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).
