Hi everyone,
It's been a while since I've posted on here, but I've been dropping in now and again and reading with great interest, theres nothing I like better than 'garage mechanicing', but when its chilly (I'm in the UK) I like reading about it.
Some of you might remember one of my other honda's, its in my avatar, also another picture here

Anyway the point....I've been trying to build a cafe for a couple of years now, but things always get in the way, I've had to finish a Zed for a friend, which is done now and pulled me old Honda back out, she is in working bay no1 (out of 1)
At the minute my cafe has 591 kit, yoshi spec road and track cam, dyna coils, dyna ignition, lockhart cooler, twin disc front end, MAC pipe, 17' spoked wheels (stainless with alloy rims) 120 tyre on the front and a 160 on the rear, CB750 Swingarm, standard tank with knee inserts, steel cafe hump seat.
I think I can offer some information for some of you regarding wheels, my rear wheel is a rear from a Triumph Thunderbird Sport, it has stainless spokes and a alloy rim with a disc brake (the disc from a late model Triumph Tiger fits also), it has the same spindle size as the Honda, and fits the swingarm with room to spare. The external diameter of the sprocket carrier is just less than the internal diameter of the hub, so the sprocket carrier fits the hub nicely, the 750 rubbers also fit too (with a little bit of trimming), the sprocket carrier has 5 splines the same as the hub, and requires a little bit of filing to clear the heads of the spokes inside the hub, ideally I need to get a Triumph carrier but they are not easy to find. (BTW ZZR 1100D would also be a good candidate.)
I could do with another CB750 hub to do it again and make it a tidier job. I'll post a picture when I get a chance if anyone wants to see it. I've also machined off some of the meat on the carrier and removed the screw on bearing cover, I could have left it on but I was short of room at the time plus the bearing is sealed, I'm thinking of arranging for another cover anyway.
The front wheel is a Honda 550 hub laced with stainless to the back alloy rim from a Triumph Tiger, both 40 spokes, it gives a nice 17 inch front, but the 120 is a bit too snug between the forks, I might drop down to a 110.
I'm going to try and get it finished in the next 3 months, I 'm not going for a show bike I want a bike that someone is going to not notice...until they do.

With that in mind I wonder if there might be a opportunity for some of the UK owners on here to arrange a meet at a rally or show or something.
And now to my question...
does anyone in the UK or the USA have a source for offset (or dished?) front sprockets?
Thanks
