New runabout
« on: December 11, 2007, 02:45:34 AM »
Hey guys, Just bought this 1979 DT175 to get around on. Having no garage my 750 had to live on the street and after finding it knocked over for the fifth time she has now gone to live in my brothers garage.I wont get to ride it every day but at least i know its safe ! The DT is a real fun machine and just so light .And best of all there will be no more waking up in the nite worrying bout my baby.

Friend of mine had a DT250 many years ago, great fun  ;D
Glad the 750 is gonna be safe.
Nice find, happy riding.

My bike can be repaired.
My insanity is a little more permanent.

Hey- you've been gone a while!
So- Srories?  Did you get pregnant?  Did she make an honest man out of you?  The mother ship couldn't take it anymore and sent you back?  Woke up from a coma?
What?
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Hey guys, yeh been gone a while ! as you probably remember i was with kellie last time i was here but omg she turned into such a psyco ! one time i got home after a w/e away with mates and she had wrecked the place because she thought i was havin a affair ! She took a unopened case of crownies (expensive beer ) and thru them at every wall in the place,i dont know if it was luck or what but she missed all the windows. The place smelled like a brewry.paintings were pulled off the walls and a lot of stuff ended up all over the yard. She was such a wild little thing,i still miss her sometimes!!!! Then i went out with a girl a little closer to my age and she was almost as bad,Sometimes comming home drunk from after work drinks and accusing me of everything under the sun.She only lasted 4 months . I sure can pick em !!!!!!!! .Iv become a lot harder now and no girl gets the keys to the house any more.Thinking about going to thailand next year and finding a nice girl.

All women are psycho to some degree I think. If you go to thailand, check their background to make sure she has always been a woman!

I have to say- after living in San Francisco for 25 years- some of the prettiest girls are Asian men.

(seems like I read that in the Chronicle...)

If this seems to be a pattern, it's not the women, it's you.

I'm not sure I like where this thread is heading!  :D

I will say though that it has always puzzled me why the craziest women are the best in bed?!?!? The chick who trashed the house must have been a real firecracker (note this in absolutely NO WAY a reference to the "Firecracker" who posts on this board so please don't drag all my deepest darkest secrets out from the internet and post for all to see  ;) )

Chrometank was the big inspiration for me to get an aluminium tank for my 400.

I'm also swayed by the power of the chrome tank.  It just looks right.

I've got an extra 400F tank waiting for a new finish.   It's perfect except for a small divot that I can't reach from the inside.  Can you fill that dent with something that's chrome-able?  Solder?

Either that or I trade the extra kidney I carry around for some of Mr. Wilcox's work.

Hey ,yeh my tank was braised in places and the chrome went right over with no problems.but like iv said before ,its now got more dents than kirsty alleys thighs !! Still looks cool tho and actually gives it a bit of character, well thats my theory.

Ive been warned about the lady-boys in thailand, but iv got just the test to make sure i dont run into any nasty suprises !

I bet if you hit your tank all over so it looks like a golf ball, your bike will go farther.
