New Guzzi?  It's a copy of a copy of an old Triumph.  Looks like a cookie cutter bandwagon retro bike to me.

I can't totally agree with you but I can see where you are coming from. At least it is one of a few cookie cutters unlike what the rest of the market has with all the sport bikes and cruisers. I honestly can't tell one from the other most of the time.

Looks pretty sweet to me :)

Give me the new Triumph and I will die happy.

I'll go one step farther than Pro Teal. Like buying a harley, modern price for old technology. Oh but wait is that a different color, we can have a price increase. 48 hp, just think in another 15 years they can catch up with a sohc cb750 Honda.

Compairing that to an old Triumph is an insult to the Triumph IMO.

Cool post Terry, about the old Henderson. 8)

The thing I like about this Moto Guzzi, is the look. It's so simple! So, "Old Style" Not a bunch of Strange Looking pieces of plastic covering things up. Not some Futuristic Looking bike that can be totaled out by simply damaging the body parts. Different folks have a different idea about what they want and they are entitled to that. Then again, there are a few who just just have to say something. I can appreciate the engineering that goes into bikes but, seems like some belong on a track and not on the street where quite often their owners are nothing but a bunch of immature showoffs who are going to get somebody hurt (or worse. If I sound like I'm on my soapbox, I apologize. It's just that several times a week, I see some idiot popping wheelies or doing some acrobatic stunt on a bike in traffic and once with a girl on the back of the bike. Sorry about getting wound up, I just hate seeing folks taking such chances that endangers their lives and the lives of others. BTW, Nothing intended against anybody here either.

I am a Guzzi fanatic, however, I think that bike is weak looking.  If you want to see a good looking retro looking Guzzi, the California Vintage does a nice job of heralding the gorgeous V700's/Eldorados and Ambassadors from the late 60's and early 70's - down to the chrome insert on the tank and fenders.  The the older 1000S is still a beautiful bike to behold.  The pictured bike needs chrome fenders whether its apeing the Sport or the V700.  However, the tank on the bike is definitely inspired by the Sport/S & Lemans I.

I will say that the MG 750's are wonderful riding bikes, but I can't stand the styling of the Nevada.  The Breva is a great looking all around pleasing bike to ride, and quite comfortable to boot.
