By the looks of it, your bike is the ultimate in cheese... I guess that makes you an authority on the subject Terry.

Ha ha, geez it doesn't take much to upset you does it mate? Well if you love Carpy that much, you better marry him! "Carpy and Andoo, sitting in a tree,................  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well, well a few are all wound up here..

I dont see to much complaining on here about motorcycle dealers..but when someone is a bit known for building a certain type of bike, then it seems to be a problem for some.

The guy does it for a living, and he seems to be known..so what is that worth??

The same as a guy cranking out his first custom and offering it on ebay ??..I think not..

At least if a guy builds for a while you somewhat know what to expect. And if you want a bike from him, well he probably does not crank one out every week, so I guess the old  supply & demand tends to kick in..

I thought this site caters to sohc Hondas. What I ride does not look like anyone elses on here, but I seem to be able to fit in..(I think)

So who cares what most are into on here.. lets see some single-sticks!!.. how about a hillclimber or some dragbikes.. or some old touring ones.. I dont mind seeing them.. if I get tired of them, I can click off.

I went through the first wave of choppers and early cafe racers before sportbikes.. but some on here are new to it and want to build that syle and learn about them....so let them...

I am not a huge fan of cafe bikes.. but I can still look at them and other bikes and get ideas or inspiration to make new things.. There is some types of cafe parts I absolutely cant stand, so I might rant about them one day, but so far have not felt the need..

I'd love you more if I was attracted to children, because that’s how you act.
If anything you’re in love with Carpy. You seem to bring him up more than congress asks for money.

Here are some New chops (built by Venice choppers in CA)

Like any road a thread should have twists and turns to make it more interesting..

I think the problem here is there is not enough cafe builders to align everyone to their personal favorites.. ie.. if there was 100's of builders like in choppers there would be more styles to chose as your favorites and less pressure on the few builders that there are..

Thanks Andoo for the awsome link!  They have some great examples of different bikes, both bobbers and chops!  I had not seen that link before, but love all of those bikes!

The way I look at motorcycling, who cares what you ride as long as you are riding!  While I am building a cafe, I would love to have a period chop or bobber or a original sandcast or CB 750.  Who knows, maybe the next project will be one of those.  Trying to talk a buddy out of a old 650 Triumph with a big bore kit (750cc) and a 5 speed conversion!

Whats funny is the debate Cafes vs Choppers goin on here. Each one of us has our own style and taste. There are a few of us that enjoy both styles of bike myself included in this group. Personally im looking forward to getting more wrench time in on both my major projects once my VF is at the stage i consider it "done". (im close to that now its just cosmetics i gotta worry about there). But these major projects are my 550 K which is being built as a Cafe style bike while the other one is my first SOHC which was a CB750 K4 which im getting back in the spring. The 750 will be built as a chopper since all thats left of it is the engine. (sadly my roommate sold the drag bike chassis he was going to mate the engine to). What im getting at is this...this is a continuous debate back and forth over and over again...Stock Vs Cafe Vs Choppers...they all have their place why cant we all get along because of which.
