« on: January 29, 2011, 04:42:09 PM »
I am looking at a 73 cb750 2nd owner bike-32000 miles. Good year to get? I know they all have good points to them, just wondering.

Had mine since '73.............A few minor changes during the year. Most original bikes came with smaller main jets.  115s or larger will wake them up! Used condition is heavily dependent on the PO!

If you can get it for a good price then YES it's a good year.  If the guy wants 2 arms and a left knee cap then look for something else.  Hey, it's a SOHC4 - nothing more to say!   ;D
It took 10 years but she's finally done!

Somewhere around here (maybe in the "thoughts of Hondaman post?), there is a breakdown of the differences (engine at least) of the 750s.  FAQs?

Its my favorite of the fat stripers..

All the nice stuff without the fugly later #$%*e.. the only thing that the next 3 years had that might be more useful is the running lights, and the bigger signals (not a + to me)
