Question about seat construction
« on: December 08, 2007, 12:47:51 PM »
Is the style of seat seen in the 750 main gallery (The red seat) made using a stock seat base?
I would like to keep my rear fender, but would like to have somewhat of a cafe style seat.
Any info will be appreciated.

YES!!!
Thats the one I am talking about.
I pretty much gave up on getting any kind of response.(And still really haven't gotten an answer)
This post has been read over 160 times and no help.
I guess this is not a very common style of seat.
To the owner of this bike, I myself think it looks great.

Yup, that is on a stock pan. That is actually a stock Honda seat. I guess they're called a Honda Giuliari seat. You could make one or have one made to look like that.

Here is one on eBay for the low price of $900 ;D,

That seat was an after market accessory(Giuliari sports seat). Mostly seen in European countries and their ebays too. It's not a stock seat pan, but bolts right in it's place.

I took my stock seat pan to a upholstery guy and showed him a picture of a Giuliari sports seat. In return he gave me a really cool looking seat that fits right on my bike! Enjoy!

It was made by Giuliari for Honda and sold as a Honda accessory. Thats why it said Honda on it..

Those seats can be found on ebay as well -  I scored one for $150  ;D  It needs to be re-covered, but still a pretty good deal!
