Ha ha, no spite here Derek, I just needed to open a window to allow some of the bullshiite out, remember, it was the public's indifference to the K7/K8's "style" that killed of the mighty 750/4, and forced Honda to prematurely release the DOHC bikes to try to reprise some of their lost sales.
A lot of guys here weren't into 750/4's back then, (I bought my first CB750, a brand new, heavily discounted 1975 CB750 F, in March 1978) and weren't aware of how unpopular the K7/K8 really was, but that's no excuse to try to re-write history on the fly! Cheers, Terry.
