Good work.  I'm not going to be starting until the snow flies, which is soon.

Can I ask where you got those tail lights?

If your talking about the turn signal (cat eye) lights, there are some close to those for free with a donation to the forum, look in the parts for sale - it's stickied.

good job on the tank, and on the bike :) Always nice to see people work on their own bike. That's how i learned. Keep up the good work!

I actually got the lights off of e bay. I installed 2 red LED's in each and hooked them up for brake lights. I posted a picture how to a while back.

I love the tank, I love the colors (especially the frame), I love it all.

Any reason we don't get a shot of the left side of the bike??  ;)

nice tank work. I've pretty much decided to just go with the rubber knee pads from the early
hondas at the rear of the tank...

Who drilled your rear drum? any issues with moisture/condensation?

I'm thinking about it but would like to know if the holes will contribute to some other issue first.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

I did the drilling of the rear hub. I marked it from the inside so I wouldnt hit any thing that might weaken the hub. I have not yet noticed any problems with moisture. I love the way it looks and decided to go with the same size hole everywhere instead of do the run of the mill smaller and smaller holes the closer to the center.

The "emblem" is actually just gold spray paint I sprayed through a wedding card that acted like a stencil.
Tybee?
Yes, its Tybee Island in the back ground. Not really much of a beach but it made for decent pictures.
