Wow Tanker Frank. For a guy from Joliet IL, you sure have broken english? Or do you just type fast?

Joliet was where Elwood got Jake out of prison at the beginning of The Blues Brothers movie, right? Is that Statesville Prison the same place I'm thinking of ?

Well, congratulations on your new addition.  I like the 76s best of all from the F model 750s.  My bro-in-law has his 78 750F in my warehouse at the moment, leaking oil and stagnating.  I suppose if he had purchased a 76, my floor wouldn't be absorbing his leaking engine's oil.

I bought my CB500K-0 not far from there, recently, in Plainfield, IL.

PPS - Will you be attending the College of DuPage Vintage bike show in August?

PS I sell beer in Joliet!

Jordan, Do you sell Polish Beer? The local Polish Home Association in Seattle is a kind of meeting place for Poles. Every friday night they open the basement and the kitchen and serve Polish food. I had some dark strong Polish beer with my meal the last time I went. Forgot the name, but it was stroooong.

I used to work for the supplier who sells to the distributor in Seattle, so I'm guessing it was probably Okocim Porter.  It is dark, and strong.  If not Okocim then I'm guessing maybe Kozlak Porter, Black Boss, Dojlidy Porter?  Sound familiar?  And, yes I still sell Polish Beer among others.

Hondas leak oil?

No, but old engine seals do if left to rot!  Well, in this situation it's a blown head gasket around the 3rd cylinder, and a misaligned header from the wrong model, I think.  Either way, it's frustrating because the bikes have moved around so frequently, I worry that one of MY bikes may be leaking oil, which they are not.  Currently my CB500K-0 is parked above one of the 750s' previous puddles.

I think I'll just drain all the oil from the 750 so it stops leaking...fat chance.  Like a dog will still poop even if you stop feeding it, no matter what.  One of those things, I guess.

I have been told that this year is unofficially going to have a strong Japanese showing from a few local clubs, including a club that favors Cafe Racers, which would be cool because my bro-in-law went to one of their shows in the city last month and there were about 60 beautiful CAfe Racers mainly from England, Italy and Japan.  Thats my kinda show!

sound like a good plan.  i will be there.  two thing i need to do is the  fork seal are leaking  bad on one side,  and i need to get the wheel balance, the guy put new tire on the bike as parts of the sale but he did not balance them so if i take my hand off the handlebar i get a wobble..i better get to work,  jordan do you know of a good shop in the du page and or wll country.  i do not have the tool to balance a rim...

Frank in Joliet

Go to the following website. He is excellent and on Ogden in Downers Grove.  Many years in the business and works mainly on Japanese bikes.  Not a dealer so you won't have to wait a month.
