Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

If you win tell him you'd like it toasted with your favorite spread, preferably shipped warm.

What will you do if Panera Bread decides to design their bagel holes to look just like it? The value will plummet along with pork bellies. ;D

I think we have another candidate in the strange/stupid auctions, this one actually has some high bids.

 ebay item 290188322713

Makes you wonder how many bids are just so someone can say they played with hers.

My favorite was the carrot shaped like a vagina. Totally hilarious description ("I will personally deliver it and hand it to you"), and IT DID LOOK LIKE A VAGINA. It got 50,000 hits and sold for $12,000.
  Doubt he got paid....

This one is getting pretty ridiculous...though you have to admire a woman's devotion to her husband.  Actually, if my wife spent that much on an obsolete piece of used gear for me, I'd want to kill her!   :D

I suspect they have way too much cash lying around.

And that was $50 CDN you paid!

I sure hope this woman's husband likes the pack an awful lot!

"Gee, honey.  Thanks.  These were great packs back before the materials and designs improved.  Kinda nostalgic."  ::)
