I opened the local paper the other day to find a short piece on a new book under development. Apparently, Lynne Spears, mother of our beloved Britney Spears was authoring a book on parenting. Wouldn't this be like Hannibal Lecter penning a book on dining etiquette? It seems the book was scheduled for release on Mother's Day, 2008.

However, the publisher seems to have seen the folly in this after Ms. Spears sixteen year-old daughter announced recently that she is pregnant. Just goes to show you that truth is not only stranger than fiction, but sometimes more humorous as well.
