Hey Chris.  Doesn't seem like a bad start to me! ;) Looks like you should be "Tripling" in due time, what do ya think?

  • So, what do ya wanna talk about today?
Man, I wish I had a H2 750, my life is way too quiet right now! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Chances are it should be ready to rock and roll by spring. A friend of mine may have the wiring harness i need but he isnt sure..if not we will probably patch up the one thats on the bike and relocate the key swtich as well. The wiring is the thing that has Chris most worried about the bike..otherwise hes convinced i stole the thing lol.

Here are some clearer pics of the bike..the ones taken earlier were taken when the camera was cold..so quality suffered a bit..

My friend on the Kawi triples board does have the harness...he wants the rear fender off of the bike for his and i dont like the appearance of the fender on mine anyways so im trading him the fender for the harness and some other goodies...

Heres a rough idea as to how the bike could look very soon..Namely the H2 style graphics..

Sounds good Chris! One thing that concerns me about multi cylinder 2-strokes, are the crankshaft seals, especially the center seal.
Lots of Luck with that one guy! ;)

the upside of this bike is that it has a rebuilt engine. Probably has less then 2000 kms on the engine rebuid itself. because it was in much th same conditon as to when i got it when the po got it from his uncle. Except wrapped up just after repaint and rebuild. it was disassembled partly to redo the carbs and thats how i got the bike.

Front fender w/all hardware needed to install

and shifter

all for free since the guy wants the long rear fender from my bike for his.

Looks like the bike is coming together "Pieces At A Time." :D ;)
That IS cool that you have things like that happening though. Tends to cut down on The Search For Parts where ever you can find them. :) Keep us posted Chris. ;)

Its now basicly just reassemble the bike with the right parts...since i will have essentially everything needed to get it to running except for a battery

Nice deal, wouldn´t mind getting my hands on a Kawa twostroke myself  8)

By the way, isn´t that front wheel on back to front? Looks like it should have the brake plate on the left side to run the brakewire backwards...

Just be careful on your first run so that drumbrake doesn´t lock up on you.

Cheers

yes, that cable is backwards and must be corrected. The wheel has to be turned 180 degrees so the cables come off the left side.

Yep...the previous owner..is turning out to be an idiot when it comes to this bike...the forks and wheel will be corrected when the oil and front fender are installed.
