77 cb550K wheel spacers
« on: December 23, 2007, 07:04:36 pm »
I just wanted to verify, are there any spacers on the cb 550 other than the aluminum one on the brake side and the sprocket cover plate on that side.  Looking at the parts diagrams it isn't clear so I wanted to make sure how much room I have for my disc and caliper on the other side.

There is a spacer outboard of the brakeplate and one on the sprocket side that wont come out untill you separate the steel outer plate and sproket carrier

Thanks, I wanted to make sure that I hadn't misplaced it and that I would have enough room for the caliper.  Now I just need to make a new spacer and a carrier for the rotor and weld it up and I will have a rear disc.  If only that were the end :).  Thanks again!
