upgrading to modern forks/wheels/brakes

Hi everyone, have just joined this site as i have just purchased a 1979 CB650Z and lookin for good advice on fitting modern forks/wheels/brakes and also if anyone has fitted a 750 DOHC into the 650 frame...has anyone done a mono-shock conversion on the 650?..if so what did you use?...CBR600 stuff?....all advice greatly appreciated guys...thanks

Wlcome aboard. You will find dozens of project bikes with front end upgrades. Just keep looking and bookmarking the forums you feel close to what you are looking for.

cheers for that...nice bike...yellow looks good....i looked at the prospect of using a fazer 600 front end but will keep lookin on here an see what will be the easiest route to go down...i had seen an CB750FZ with a completet CBR600 front end and 17" wheels, it looked good but did not get any info on the fitting...was also thinking about fitting the CBR600 rear mono-shock to the 650..
