Please help with model year of VIN CB550E2008065

Sorry to ask but I'm at my inlaws and their computer won't allow me to download the manuals to confirm the model year of this VIN #CB550E2008065.

Can anyone help?

Not really.
 The number you gave would appear to be an engine number.  VINs are usually frame numbers.

The number posted looks like a 77 CB550 K engine.
