I also would like in, I haven't read this up until now! My bike is definitely not show quality, but I love it and would LOOOOOVE to have a book around like this. It's a real #$%* you lost all your work, but it's phenomenal that you're taking on a huge job like this. I don't know where it'll wind up, but I hope all the work and doing the work again is worth it to you, but it's definitely appreciated.

That's what I'd like to hear.

I would also be interested in getting a copy of the book. The Gorilla wont be ready for this one, but I would be happy to send stuff in for the second edition! You should have a "barn find" chapter or something like that. I pulled mine out of a barn, been sitting 20 years, paid $100... Still not 100%(or legal), but what a bargain!!! Definitely let me know when the book is done!!!

volkswagendan might have been "joking", but only in quotes. I'd be happy to write a bit about my bike and provide high-resolution, print-worthy photographs, but I'm not going to spend any time on that until I see some indication that this project is actually underway.

SOHC forum members,

Just a little update about the book.  It is still in the works.  I need you to continue to send me high resolution pics and your story to my email address - aentz626@comcast.net

You can send me as many pics as you would like and the story can be of any length - preferably over a page typed.  to turn it into a full coffee table book, it should be FAT with pics and stories.  As winter sets in, I plan to put more effort into the book.  So far it is about 30 pages (a ton of work to get it to that point already).

I will try an contact most of you to send me your STUFF.

sparty,

any updates on the book??  sorry i haven't sent you anything, i don't have much to send!  my bike is still sitting in the garage with the spare engine next to it.  money and time have been my biggest hurdles for any progress, but i hope to start VERY soon!  i would love to purchase a book though, maybe you can include mine in an addendum or vol. 2 later on   ;D

sad, lonely,   coffee table...    if it only it had a book.

Book has stalled due to the lack of photos and member stories.  I thought people (members) would be sending pics and a story, but they too get busy with "life".  So as new pics and stories come in they are added.

some pics are of horrible resolution and can not be used, which adds to the delay.

I want to publish a book that people will enjoy and that I am not embarrassed to print.  If it takes more time so be it.
