hey sparty pants,
if you're really trying to put this book together...
AND people are not hunting  you down to put their bikes in the book then i have a cRaZy idea for you....ready???
go through the gallery of botm winners, and sweet bikes on the forum (or whatever bikes blow your skirt up) and email these people asking them to be in your silly little book.
come on man,  its like sitting on your steps waiting for a job to just pull into your driveway and hand it's self to you.
btw, dont forget to mention me in the forward and how i was a great inspiration to get this damn thing done.
if you ask nice i'll even send you a high-rez pic of my sweeeeet bike.

=) ;) -) and all that crap so i can say i was joking   (...but i'm not.)

...oh, and good job on the first page.  i'll be selling "Honda" stickers as well as "women" stickers to fill in the blanks in three  years if anybody needs em.  (gadzooks i'm a prick)

after a nights sleep, i feel i was too tough on sparty.  i retract calling your book "silly" and "little"
all the other crap i put up i still stand behind.  in fact... the term, "sh!t or get off the pot." comes to mind now.
oops. there i go again.  ...sorry.

Hey there Art,

Just wanted to re-offer my services to help with the book. I do this kind of thing for a living and would be more than happy to lend a hand. Or, if you're just getting burned out you're more than welcome to dump all of the images and copy in my lap and I'll lay out the whole thing.

Let's get this thing done!

I've gotta send Sparty some stuff, I've built 3 bikes since this thread started! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

The fella's over at wwwdothe ton.com did a really nice Cafe Racer coffee table book earlier this year.
Lots of work and an excellent book later, we're excited to see Volume II.

I don't think anyone realized it, but this was complete satire.

No one is making this book.

Too bad, I love the idea of a pure CB book. Just Honda CB's cafes, stock, custom etc..

Yeah, about the coffee table book.  Many people are interested but they have yet to send me their high resolution pics and stories of their builds.  I guess all masterpieces take time to complete. In this case years!  Maybe when i retire in 20 years it will be finished.  In the meantime I stated a small business that is sucking up most of my free time, but it will help fund my adventures and 32 coupe project.

Well? Anything?
Sticky topic for how many years now?
Is this like a stain on your carpet that you just get used to and don't notice anymore?

But seriously... what's the hold up?

Should we try and resurrect this thing?
If not maybe then we should UNsticky it.
....................... ???

I'd love to have a book like this. Especially as after 6 years of being on this forum, I've watched a lot of these bikes get resurrected from junk. All of these machines are like part of my extended family :)

Im newer to the forum but i read a lot of older posts about these bike in hope to gain knowledge. This book is a great idea to include all sorts of cbs for hardtail bobbers to restos cafed bikes flat trackers and such. But it has been quoted on here #$%* or get off the pot. Email owners of sohc4s of the forum and get this thing going. And btw i will buy one when its done. Would love to have it on my soon to come bookshelf.
