Is the Makers Mark for when you find out the seat doesn't fit?  ;D

I got a year's subscription to motorcycle classic, new clutch springs and a RH case gasket for the xs.  Now if only I could fix that damn pushrod seal...  :-\

Fuuck off Dan, that seat will fit just fine, and then I'll sit back on it and drink my Makers, laughing to myself about poxy old Yamaha's! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I got a Kendon single bike trailer http://www.kendonusa.com/single_trailer.htm with the spare tire option. It's a used 2004 model, but I'm definitely not complaining!

im looking at one that northern tools has,its about 600 dollars.it looks pretty nice online, havent seen it up close and personal yet.

Duster, look at the one harbor freight has. It's around $370 and I know several folks who have been real
happy with it.

My Dad had the lower priced model (about $100 cheaper) and it was pretty good. When I went down to get the bikes from him, I was going to ask about buying it from him and he said he had "sold it" to a friend. I haven't been to my brother's place in a while and kinda expect that I would find it there. At any rate, I think the Harbor Freight models are good too and less pricey too!

Shh, don't tell her, but the Yammy is just a rebound girl till I find another CB  ;)

Unfortunately I think she already knows, and that's why she's pissing oil all over the floor when I park her.  Oh well, she'll be sold in the spring when I finally get tired of my balls being vibrated so much that I'll fear I'm going sterile!

Well as much as you going sterile may well be good for humanity Dan, you can always send it to me mate, I know I called 'em poxy, but that doesn't mean that I don't like them, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D

I got the seven piece set of the craftsman gear wrench type wrenches with the locking swivel heads and a snap ring pliers that work on internal and external rings and they have replaceable tips.  I didn't even ask for the wrenches they were a bonus and they came with a snazzy little tool purse that is now in the garbage.
I farted and made my son cry.

I was in the liquor store today (surprise, surprise) and there was a special on Jack Daniels, you buy two bottles and get a free leather wallet? Trouble is, after I buy the Jack, there's nothing left to go in the wallet............  :-\

Not motorcycle related - actually mostly devoid of motorcycle content, but I got a book on Honda - 'Honda Motor, The Men, The Management, The Machines' by Tetsuo Sakiya.  Published in 1982.  Both this book and another, 'The Honda Myth', that I'm reading barely mention the CB750.  Honda was already the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world and very focused on breaking into the car market by the late 1960's.

Got a new shouldered alloy rim to replace the "vintage" cracked one I almost unsuspectingly used.  My wheel project is going on 6 months now.  All of the bright ideas I had to save money well...didn't.  A few more bucks for powdercoating and I'll be too scared to actually mount tires on the expensive SOBs.

On the whisky front I'm enjoying Crown Royal Special Reserve from my mother-in-law.  The subtleties of this blend are lost on my unsophisticated pallete, but it does put the oooo in smooth.

Strange, I got another new Dremil tool, to replace the one I wrecked using to cut sheetrock with the past 3 weeks.  :-\

Still haven't gotten another pair of Honda Thermal winter gloves for the ones I lost back in november.  ::)
peace,
michel

PS I did get permission to buy another bike or two this coming year.  ;D

No bike parts from Santa this year (although did buy some bits for myself from Yamiya ;D)

Something good to read / watch for the winter evenings from my brother:
