I gave my brother in law the 10-episode extended DVD of Long Way Round.

And on top of that, I only have 1 episode of Long Way Down left to watch (but it won't air until February  :()

Edit:  Strike that, I found a torrent for episode 6.  Woot!  ;D

Man, I didn't get any motorcycle related stuff at all but I did receive a lot of booze.  A bottle of Jack D., bottle of Jamesons, bottle of Remy VSOP and 4 x 4 packs of Duvel Belgian beer with collectors glasses, mmmmmmm.
Other than booze my girl got me a fig tree for my apartment(which I asked for.) and the usual gifts of socks, drawers and #$%*.  oh and my early present was a Joe Dumars throwback Pistons jersy.  Very cool! ;D

im looking at one that northern tools has,its about 600 dollars.it looks pretty nice online, havent seen it up close and personal yet.

Duster, look at the one harbor freight has. It's around $370 and I know several folks who have been real
happy with it.

I got the Harbor Freight lift also for Christmas. Not the air one though. Takes a few pumps with the foot to get it all the way up but nothing extreme. It was on sale with coupon for $199. The front wheel clamp isn't the greatest but the lift itself works real well.

I'm married to a gem of a gal who lets me get my own Christmas presents.....so I trawl for stuff (usually on eBay) and when the box arrives at whatever time of the year I say "no need to worry about a Christmas gift, dear, I've dealt with it."

Anyhoo, because of my new found interest in off (paved) road riding, and after witnessing a nasty 7 stitch knee gashing ooopsy I decided to up grade some of my protective gear. So voila, a brand new pair of Malcom Smith off road boots (stiff as a board and weigh a ton; a friend suggests shovelling snow and walking around the house in them to break them in) and some Alpinestars body armour (already got the lower extremities protected). Both at an embarassingly low price. Roll on Spring..

I had that too.

What a great DVD!  Just shows how much better a motorcyclist Boorman is than his mate McGregor!

Heff,

I hate to mention this but when we did our ride I noticed a thinning spot in the back?!  :o

You'll be one of the GHOF before long. Good thing I've lost a BUNCH of mine or I'd have a lot of gray. How about a BHOF?
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

The good thing about gray, is that it can be "re-colored". My dad's just turned 81 and still has all his hair, but he's been a "silver fox" since he was 18 or 19, I'm the same, and now my two boys (23 and 22) are going the same way............ Well, at least I know that they're mine! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
