Last I saw of the green monster it was about half a block in front of my '75 810F. I was slightly above 10K in 3rd gear doing a little over 100mph. Figured I may as well quit at that point as to not scare you. I gotta swap my 18 tooth road sprocket out for my 17 toother. 1/4 block would sure seem more respectable  ;D

'other bike'? My wife would be enternally joyous if I only had an 'bike'. Heregoes with some I got pics of:

1984 VF700 Interceptor, for when I want to feel young again

THose with no pictures.....1990 VTR250 Interceptor, 1980 XR200R; 1974 Kawasaki Dyno-Mite, 1965 CL72 250 Scrambler. I think that's it, but I may have forgotten something.

How the heck did i miss the Interceptor?? Nice bike man!

I sold this '02 sportster two years ago and haven't had a bike since.  I can't wait to get my CB750 running.  It's being delivered on Wednesday.

The problem with this thread is when you buy a bike and have a nasty habit of taking it straight to bits and putting everything in a million boxes for restoring, all hastily before taking pictures, you can't contribute. It's a terrible habit I know and I'll get treatment for it someday...the ones I do have pictures for do not include the CR750 replica build, the 1951 Ducati cucciolo restoration or the chinese Gorilla monkey bike but here's some of the others...

1983 Yamaha XV750SE - first post test road bike, found again on ebay 17 years after I sold it, now being restored.
1995 Bimota SB6 - current road bike
1999 Stage 3 Factory Moriwaki Endurance Racer
1998 Stage 2 Moriwaki Honda Britain Superbike
1972 Black Bomber CB497 racer

Got a stock CB550 now and have owned 12 more in the past including a successful late 70's WERA roadracer.

These two are pretty fun too.

As of today, I have two "other" bikes so figured I post here.  My bike budget has loosened up since my buddy mentioned to my wife what he paid for his new Harley.  Suddenly I look fiscally responsible tinkering with my old crap.

'94 FZR 1000
This thing is an animal...carbs need fine tuning but when it clears it's throat hang on.  It's going to stay naked and may become a track day bike to beat on.

'84 BMW R80RT
Bought this one today for a long haul/commuter bike.  Needs some carb and brake work, but very complete and original with 30,000 miles - and came with a huge box of extras.  I want to ride to Indy for the GP race in September if I can get comfortable with this bike.  Never had a bike with luggage attached, but I'm pretty excited about stuffing a full face helmet in there.

Is there a good web site to order airhead parts?  I need the usual stuff - air/oil filters, carb kits, brake pads and seals, etc.  The BMW dealership near me closed down last month.

Thanks! This is all original right down to the wore out rear sprocket. I am slowly getting everything I’ll need to do a full and accurate restoration on her. I didn’t realize how rare these were until after I bought it and how hard they are to get parts for. The guy I bought it from said his sister still had the original chrome Denco stingers, never used in the original box!!! I need those pipes.

I LOVE my 2 strokes ;D
