Hey Gordon,
Yup been awhile. I'm back lol.
I actually started the 750 tonight. :) It started on like the 3rd crank. :)
I'm going to try to have it done for the Old Bike Run this year.

'other bike'? My wife would be enternally joyous if I only had an 'bike'. Heregoes with some I got pics of:

My Ascot Streettracker:

Restored '78 GOldWing GL1000

My daily rider, 2000 Valkyrie

1972 Penton 125 Six-day I bought in 1972

Our 1982 GL1100 GoldWing Interstate- cruiser project

1984 VF700 Interceptor, for when I want to feel young again

1976 CR125m Elsinore restoration

Early '80s RD350LC dragbike project

1965 S-65 ( bought it new in '65) and a 1967 CL77 305 Scrambler

THis one I call my CRF200R, had a CRF450 rolling chassis sitting around and an XR200R engine, so, put them together

Hard to see behind the tree, but me on my 1995 Beta Techno 250:

A few more in storage down in the barn. Beside those already pictured, 1959 SuperCub, 1982 CR125, '87 Yamaha SRX 250; 1986 TLR 200 Reflex

THose with no pictures.....1990 VTR250 Interceptor, 1980 XR200R; 1974 Kawasaki Dyno-Mite, 1965 CL72 250 Scrambler. I think that's it, but I may have forgotten something.

A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

Thanks on the WIng comments. Couple of guys that have seen it in the garage didn't even ralize it was a 'Wing until they began looking at the engine.

Paul, been going to the NGW site for a few years. Boy and I rode the '78 Wing and the Valkyrie on the 1st annual NGW ride a couple of years ago. Same name over there.....CharlieT

Yep!  Took me a full year to track down a set.  They stopped making them quite awhile back.  A guy on VFRD forum answered up last month.  $500 and he met me half way.  I rode 2 hours north to Salinas, CA and we put them on my bike in the Walmart parking lot.  Gives the bike a different look, and really handy for commuting!

Sorry I don't know how to put copy between pictures;
Watchless
Bitsa (400cc over stock hehehehe) & '52 Steib S500
'52 R67/2  (a little better off than this)  (runs great now but I still can't start it)  (bother)

Interesting how nostalgic this makes me for the bikes I've sold in the past year and a half.  I need more humility, I guess...

Bill- what kind of sidecar is that?

Sure, I did build it for her, after all.
She's got her Learner's Permit, and will take the skills test when the weather breaks here.

Of course, she can't ride it if I'm on it all the time, eh?? It's a gas to ride.

NT400, that looks cool.  The swing arm off my 1st project was from an NT650.

BTW, I sold the VFR and picked up this:

1999 CBR1100XX, 7k miles, one owner, 2bros pipes, power commander, Corbin smuggler and all the original parts for $4500.  A bit more than I wanted to pay for a 99 but it looks and rides like a brand new bike.
