Ricky, You completely drained the humor from this thread. Oh wait this is the Tech Forum, not the open/humor section. Hmmm.... I will try to be less useless next time.

Good job Ricky.

Absolutely no offense to anyone, but that is one f'd up looking tank. AirTech makes that??? Maybe its the satin black paint, but something is throwing me off on that one.

are there any factory tanks that are quite longer than stock(about as long as a CR tank or the one pictured) that will adapt to the CB500?

I scoured the local junkyard, all i found that COULD work is a 78 CB750 Supersport tank, but its only 2 or 3 inches longer than stock, and its obviously designed to flow with matching side covers

The first offical Bimota motorcycle ever produced. Only 11 were ever made. The first one was a prototype and then 10 kits for sale.

I would love to duplicate this frame for myself if I could get a couple of measurments to put into autocad.

Would also trade a Tracy body for that tank and seat!!!!!!!!!

air tech glass is garbage. its only good for racing. after a year their tanks start to cave in under their own weight. i wouldn't be so upset but for $600 i expect them to last longer. when i called them asking what to do about it they weren't even supprised stating thats what race glass does since its built for light wheight not durability. thats just my opinion i'm sure there are some people that have had better luck with them.

i cant believe they are so expensive either. I know these tanks arent big sellers but that amount of cash is ridiculous.

I thought with the flat black and the angles it was some kind of non-radar detecting stealth model

Isn't there a guy in Ohio that makes custom tanks? I thought I bookmarked the page but it must not be on this computer and I can't seem to find it through Google.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.
